There was a sound of metal against metal, and metal cutting flesh. Then, a scream that tore apart the speaker’s vocal cords broke the stagnant air. There was a quick silence. It was broken by a soft and slow female voice slit the empty air.
"Regret anything, Alphonse?”
The man who had screamed had felt his voice falter. His head was gently tilted up to peer into the ecstatic eyes of his murderer – for he knew that he was to die by her hand. She smiled wide at him with that perfect, thousand dollar smile.
